Updated March 27, 2009 Well it's that time again. As we conclude the winter layover and with the mild weather, I know many of you are preparing your boats for an early launch. Let's make it another banner year! A grateful thanks to all for your participation, membership, and continued support of our charitable endeavors. We will be having an Officer/membership meeting on February 28 at Charlie Browns Restaurant in Forked River, NJ to discuss our 2009 agenda and finalize our '09 schedule. Invites have been sent. Your participation and input is needed.
Our
first scheduled event is our Opening Day/Annual Wine and Cheese
Party on May 23. Officers/Member meeting February 28 Twelve members attended our luncheon meeting. The hospitality and food preparation by the staff of Charlie Brown's exceeded our expectations. The food was great, and our server 'Melissa' excellent. A letter was sent to the General Manager to acknowledge our satisfaction and thanks. Our agenda is now set. A memo will be sent to each member to advise of any calender conflicts of schedule events. This will be sent twice by email and regular mail. Any request for a change must me returned by March 20, 2009. **Changes have been made to the agenda. Please see schedule for update. Opening Day / Wine & Cheese Party, Saturday, May 23.
